What global EOR pricing covers
For each employee outside Vietnam, the global EOR fee covers:
- A legal employer in the country, through a vetted in-country partner, so you do not need a local entity. An in-country partner is a company with its own legal entity in that country, checked by Nhân Kiệt, which holds the local employment contract while we manage the service and remain your contact.
- A compliant local employment contract under the country's labour law, with confidentiality and IP assignment in your favour.
- Payroll in local currency, statutory contributions and tax filings, and payslips.
- HR administration from onboarding to lawful termination.
- One contract and one monthly invoice from Nhân Kiệt for every country, with statutory costs shown line by line.
Why global EOR pricing varies by country
The fee for each country sits between USD 199 and USD 699 per employee per month. Where a country falls in that range depends on:
- Payroll and compliance work. The number of filings, social security schemes and regional rules the local payroll must handle each month.
- Mandatory benefits. Some countries require extra insurance, pension or holiday pay arrangements that take more administration.
- Immigration needs. Sponsoring a work permit or visa for a foreign hire adds work and is quoted with the country.
- Team size. Several employees in one country usually cost less per person to administer than one.
We confirm the exact fee, the employer contributions and the total monthly cost for your country in writing before you make an offer.
The total cost of a global EOR hire
Monthly cost = gross salary + the country's employer contributions + benefits + EOR fee
Employer contributions differ widely between countries and are often a larger share of the total than the EOR fee. For Vietnam, they are 23.5% of salary for Vietnamese employees, capped at 50,600,000 VND a month: the Vietnam employer cost calculator shows the breakdown for any salary.
Local EOR in Vietnam vs global EOR pricing

|---|---|---|

| EOR fee | 8% of gross salary, USD 99–199 a month | USD 199–699 a month, by country |
| Volume rates | 7% for more than 10 hires, 6% for more than 30 | Quoted per country and headcount |
| Your contact | One account team in Ho Chi Minh City, one contract, one invoice | |

How to get a global EOR quote
- Tell us the country, role and salary. Include the start date and any benefits you want to offer.
- We confirm the fee and the full cost. You get the EOR fee within the global range, the employer contributions and the total monthly cost in writing.
- Sign one agreement. New countries are added to the same agreement and invoice.
- Your hire onboards. The local contract, payroll and registrations are set up before day one.
Engaging freelancers rather than employees? Contractor of Record covers contractors in many countries. Already have your own entities abroad? Global Payroll runs payroll for them in one monthly cycle.
What we see in practice
- Statutory costs decide the budget. In most countries, employer contributions and mandatory benefits add more to the monthly cost than the EOR fee, so compare total cost, not the fee alone.
- Exchange rates move the total. Salaries are paid in local currency while the fee is in USD, so the total in USD changes with exchange rates.
- Notice periods differ by country. A candidate's notice period with their current employer often sets the start date more than the EOR set-up does; in Vietnam, it is 45 days for an indefinite-term contract, as our guide to hiring in Vietnam explains.
